Welcome Message From The President of The African Court

Augustine ramadhaniWelcome to the 2nd Continental Judicial Dialogue, sponsored by The African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights together with the World Bank and the GIZ.

On behalf of the organizers and on my own behalf I cordially invite and I warmly welcome all of you to the Dialogue on “Connecting National and International Justice” to be held at the Ngurdoto Mountain Lodge in the City of Arusha, The United Republic of Tanzania, from 4th to 6th November, 2015.

The Continental Judicial Dialogue offers an opportune occasion for productive knowledge-sharing with the goal of establishing and enhancing linkages between the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights, on the one hand, and the Regional and the National Courts, on the other hand. Programs and activities have been designed just to accomplish that.

At the same time we have not forgotten to avail you with the facilities of enjoying the beautiful touristic environment that Arusha and its neighborhood offers. I invite you to find time and take this rare opportunity to explore the City of Arusha, Arusha National Park, the Tarangire National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, the Serengeti National Park, not to forget Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa,
